Operating safety at ECT sites

Site access security

Access to sites for the recovery and reuse of excavated building and civil engineering materials is the subject of studies and discussions with the local authorities and administrations concerned.

The safety of local residents, our construction customers and our employees is an imperative when selecting sites and designing access routes.

The integration of the worksite into its surroundingsis an essential indicator of the environmental and social quality of our developments. Measuring the quality of access and analyzing the impact on roads are two of the indicators of our IQES measures: site access times can be adapted to local constraints, and some access points are subject to compulsory routing. Schedules and access are detailed on the page : Map and access to ECT sites

Site management security

Since 2011, all our sites have been ISO 14001 certified by the Intertek Group.
As part of this certification process, ECT implements customized solutions. These meet both the environmental concerns of site management and the imperatives of safe operation and truck reception.

The aim of these constraints is to enable our customers to move and unload in complete safety. They also enable us to harmonize the work of our operating teams, receptionists, ushers and machine operators (bulldozers, loaders and dumpers).

Rules governing the admission of trucks to our sites:

Directly linked to input quality and traceability

Traffic regulations
:

Reduced speed, compulsory wearing of shoulder harnesses by drivers, ban on driving with tippers raised over the entire site.

Rules for unloading materials:

Respect safety distances when unloading

To publicize these obligations, ECT has installed very large signs at all its sites to remind drivers of these safety conditions and the precise unloading rules.
