Treatment of hydrocarbon-polluted soil

A land hydrocarbon pollution treatment center, the only one of its kind in France

The ECT center for the biological treatment of hydrocarbon-polluted soil is located in La Courneuve (93).

This is a unique center in France, as it is the first French center to be entirely covered and closed.

The site marks a joint commitment by ECT and the Seine-Saint-Denis department to the decontamination, reclamation and recycling of soil from construction sites.

Its excellent location at the intersection of the A1 and A86 motorways encourages short supply chains: 53% of land comes from Seine-Saint-Denis; 42% of land comes from departments bordering Seine-Saint-Denis.

This center completes ECT’s global offering for processing inert materials from urban construction sites.
