As Hyliko unveils its new generation of retrofitted Hyliko Hy T442nd<\/sup> Edition hydrogen tractor units at Solutrans 2025, the French player in<\/strong> hydrogen mobility<\/strong> announces its entry into the earthmoving and public works segment with the delivery of the very first “worksite approach” model to Groupe Mauffrey, the French leader in transport for the construction market, as part of a partnership with ECT, the French leader in soil reclamation. Hyliko’s innovation, the first of its kind for a zero-emission heavy-duty vehicle, is part of its contribution to decarbonizing the transport of soil and building materials to and from low-carbon construction sites. <\/strong><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

The delivery of the Hy T442nd<\/sup> Edition tractor will enable Mauffrey<\/a>, a French specialist in the transport of building materials to construction sites, to support its CSR strategy with the aim of reducing its carbon emissions by 50% by 2030. “Since 2012, when France’s1st<\/sup> gas tractor was put on the road, the Mauffrey Group has always been a forerunner in the acquisition of innovative, virtuous equipment and in supporting its customers in their energy transition. This Hy T442nd<\/sup> Edition tractor, designed and assembled in France, will help deliver our customer ECT’s worksites, while contributing to the decarbonization of their activities. ” <\/em>explains Fabrice Grandgirard, Chairman of the Mauffrey Group.<\/p>

Hyliko<\/a> ‘s Hy T442nd<\/sup> Edition tractor, dedicated to the “worksite approach”, features a reinforced chassis, raised suspensions and a scalloped bumper. The front end and steel grille enhance the vehicle’s impact protection. The truck benefits from a light grille, larger tires and a hydraulic power pack capable of supporting a tipping trailer. <\/p>

This handover marks a major step in the decarbonization of transport flows linked to low-carbon construction sites. The project is part of a wider strategy to transform the earthmoving and public works segment, with the aim of significantly reducing the carbon footprint of logistics operations. The fruit of a three-way partnership between Hyliko, ECT and Mauffrey, in close collaboration with the principals of major construction sites, this initiative represents a first in France (and one of the first in Europe) in the field of hydrogen transport in the construction sector. <\/p>

The vehicle will be deployed from January 2026 by Mauffrey for its customer Razel Bec, a subsidiary of Fayat, as part of the construction site for the future line 17 of the Grand Paris Express. The truck will transport excavated soil between the construction site and ECT’s soil reuse site at Villeneuve sous Dammartin (77), representing 10 daily rounds and 270 tonnes of soil deposited each day. Over a year of operation and 25,000 km covered, Hyliko’s second-generation hydrogen truck will save 1.05 kg ofCO2<\/sub> per KM, or 26 tonnes ofCO2<\/sub> in total. <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t
