95% of inert soil received by ECT is reused in sustainable development projects

To mark World Recycling Day, ECT is highlighting its commitment to the circular economy. By 2024, 95% of the inert soil from construction sites received by ECT will be reused in our development projects. This includes the creation of parks, afforestation, biodiversity zones, farmland rehabilitation and sports and outdoor leisure facilities.

100% of the fertile substrate used to green our sites comes from recycled inert soil and green waste compost.

Today, ECT deploys its circular economy projects in key regions such as ÃŽle-de-France, Hauts-de-France, Grand-Est, Nouvelle-Aquitaine and Occitanie, contributing to more sustainable regional development. The reuse and recycling of soil from construction and civil engineering projects is an essential lever for the development of tomorrow’s natural, agricultural and recreational areas.
