[Revue Presse] International journal “Ecological Engineering

The international journal “Ecological Engineering” has just published a very interesting article. This article is entitled: “Tree growth and macrofauna colonization in Technosols constructed from recycled urban wastes”. It is co-authored by CharlottePruvost and Thomas Lerch (Paris Institute of Ecology and Environmental Sciences, Sorbonne University, CNRS, UPEC, Paris 7, INRA, IRD). The subject at hand is how to use technosols to offer sustainable alternatives to the massive importation of topsoil to meet the growing need for urban greening. A research topic already explored by Charlotte Pruvost as part of a Cifre thesis supervised by Thomas Lerch and supported by ECT.

Opening of a new site in Essonne, future equestrian center

Developing an equestrian center using inert soil On June 8, ECT opens a new site in the Essonne department, in the commune of Chevannes to be precise. New ECT site in Chevannes, Essonne

Today, ECT is opening a new site in the Essonne region, in Chevannes (91). The purpose of this site is to develop a  equestrian sports center using excavated soil from building sites in the south of the Paris region. Work is scheduled to take two years.  To access the Chevannes site, you need to be validated by ECT’s Reservation department. ECT supports the recovery of the construction industry

3 ECT sites are open to receive soil and materials from our customers. The sites are Chelles (77), Forges-les-Bains (91), Cormeilles-en-Parisis (95).
