Understanding our customers’ needs and perceptions is at the heart of what we do. That’s why, in March 2024, ECT launched a questionnaire among its construction and public works customers. The aim: to assess our customers’ satisfaction with our offers and services. And survey our customers on the difficult context of the construction sector and the potential impact of the Paris Olympic Games.

Here are five key figures from the study

General building context

  • 84% of our customers said they were feeling the pinch of the current construction climate.
  • However, it is essential to note that more than half of our customers, 51%, remain confident.

Anticipating the recovery

  • 75% of our customers forecast a recovery (probable or certain) in the fourth quarter of 2024.
  • Particularly in the public works and new construction sectors

Impact of the Olympic Games on construction activity

  • On the other hand, the staging of the Olympic Games in the summer arouses almost unanimous fears: 78% of our customers believe that this event will have a negative impact (major or minor) on their business.
  • This perception underlines the concerns of industry players about the potential disruption caused by this major event.

Customer satisfaction index

  • Despite the difficulties of the sector, 92% of our customers say they are satisfied with ECT’s offer and services, including very satisfied (39%) or satisfied (53%).
  • This satisfaction testifies to the daily commitment of ECT’s sales and operations teams.
