This partnership project is in line with our circular economy approach to recycling inert soil from construction sites and urban greening. Fertile substrate, a mixture of inert soil and green waste compost, is a 100% recycled alternative to imported topsoil, a natural resource that must be preserved. The substrate will be manufactured at our ECT site in La Courneuve (93).

ECT site in La Courneuve : fertile substrate production platform with Faiseurs de Terres
ECT’s site in La Courneuve, Seine-Saint-Denis, recently obtained authorization to produce fertile substrate, an important step in our commitment to the circular economy. This project will be developed in partnership with Faiseurs de Terres, a collaboration that marks a new step forward in our approach to recycling inert soil from construction sites and supporting urban greening. Fertile substrate, a mixture of inert soil and green waste compost, represents a 100% recycled alternative to imported topsoil, helping to preserve natural resources. This process is fully in line with our strategy of reusing materials and reducing environmental impact, by giving a second life to soil from construction sites. This project is…

[Substrat fertile] Launch of the “Land Makers” demonstrator
The “Faiseurs de Terre” group is rolling out its 100% recycled, local and socially responsible fertile substrate demonstrator. It’s happening on the Lil’Ô site in L’Île-Saint-Denis (93). This is where the “Earth Makers” deploy their fertile substrate demonstrator. The consortium includes Neo-Eco, Halage and ECT. It develops a pooling of skills and resources. The aim was to validate the manufacturing process for a new fertile substrate. A growing medium made entirely of recycled products: inert soil, crushed concrete and green waste compost. The conviction of “Les Faiseurs de Terre” is that this fertile, recycled, local and supportive substrate should become the basis for the greening of territories. And that…
