Helping to transform brownfields and derelict sites in the Hauts-de-France region

ECT Hauts de France’s ambition is to contribute to the transformation of industrial wastelands and urban wastelands by recycling excavated soil from local building sites. The region’s dynamic construction sector generates large volumes of soil, which is recycled in unbuilt projects at no cost to local authorities.

In fact, the reuse of land means that projects, designed in partnership with local authorities, are completely self-financing. With a strong presence in the Lens coalfield, the agency has already completed several urban parks and biodiversity areas. Other projects are currently underway.

We are proud to contribute to the reconversion of brownfield sites in the Bassin Minier region into nature and leisure areas. By reusing soil from local construction sites, we are taking concrete action for the environment while meeting the needs of local residents. This circular economy model is at the heart of our mission.
