In June 2024, Isabelle Ruckebusch, mayor of Houdain (62), presented to the local press the transformation of an abandoned communal plot of land into an urban park, designed to revitalize the environment and offer residents a new space in which to relax. Named Parc de la Chaussée Brunehaut, this project illustrates a strong commitment to sustainable development and the reclamation of green spaces.
