Renaturation of a degraded site into a natural area
In the commune of Vaux-le-Pénil, the town council and ECT are carrying out a natural landscaping project at Le Tertre des Roches.
This 7.5-hectare area, open to all, will feature a tree-lined promenade, a belvedere and a pedagogical trail. Preserved areas will also be dedicated to biodiversity. Soil from local construction sites is used to shape the new landforms required for the project, and to finance the new ecological and landscaping features.
