New ECT site in Chevannes, Essonne

Today, ECT is opening a new site in the Essonne region, in Chevannes (91). The purpose of this site is to develop a  equestrian sports center using excavated soil from building sites in the south of the Paris region. Work is scheduled to take two years.  To access the Chevannes site, you need to be validated by ECT’s Reservation department. A responsible solution for greening the city In situ production of fertile substrate is an environmentally sober solution. It allows us to extend “nature in the city”, a major environmental challenge for the cities of tomorrow. This material is a local, sustainable alternative to imported topsoil, a natural resource that must be preserved. For 10 days, ECT produced the fertile substrate on site. The 1st panel of the solar power plant was officially installed on November 14. In the presence of the mayor of Annet-sur-Marne, Christian Marchandeau, the vice-president of the regional council, Jean-Philippe Dugoin-Clément, and Eric Scotto, president and founder of Akuo. An event at which everyone was delighted by the launch of this green, renewable energy project. Thanks to the 17 MWp produced by the solar power plant, Annet will become a positive ENR production town.

Inauguration of one of the largest solar power plants in the Paris region

A look back at the official event in November 2019, when the first photovoltaic panel will be installed at the “Gabots” solar power plant. In the presence of the mayor of Annet-sur-Marne, Christian Marchandeau, the vice-president of the regional council, Jean-Philippe Dugoin-Clément, and Eric Scotto, president and founder of Akuo. Akuo’s new solar power plant, one of the largest in the Paris region, is located in the commune of Annet-sur-Marne. With a capacity of 17 MWp, it covers 18.5 hectares of mounds shaped by ECT. Work will run until late summer 2020.

In Essonne, a new project opens in Morangis

A municipal vegetable garden for more nature in the city The new municipal kitchen garden will cover an area of 5,390 m².
