However, digging, modelling and landscaping on our sites require the use of bulldozers, trax trucks, caterpillar excavators and articulated dumpers, all of which are sources of GHG emissions and pollution. How can we fit a decarbonization and emissions reduction trajectory into the reality of a construction site activity, with obvious budget constraints, and given the state of technological advances in both machinery and fuels? Our assessment is clear: while investment in machines has proved its energy efficiency, the search for

2 electric bulldozers to reduce the carbon footprint of land reception and earthworks at ECT sites. How to reduce the carbon footprint of ECT sites?  A first step in our decarbonization trajectory has been taken with the Bergerat-Monnoyeur company. ECT has acquired two Cat D6XE bulldozers. This model is the first electric-powered bulldozer with elevated transmission. This new technology optimizes and regulates internal combustion engine speed: the power calls, fuel consumption peaks, are just some of the benefits that managed by an electric hydraulic boost. Soil reception conditions Between June 2020 and April 2021, ECT received soil from its Villeneuve-sous-Dammartin (77) and Annet-sur-Marne (77) sites that complied with the regulations but was potentially pyritiferous. The soil came from the excavation of the Grand Paris Express metro lines. Since 2021, ECT has been in contact with the Prefecture of Seine-et-Marne, the Ministry of the Environment and BRGM. These discussions validated ECT’s approach to risk management and analysis methodology. Two prefectoral decrees issued in July 2022 set out the procedures, controls and analyses carried out by ECT. A partnership for soil fertility: On Friday September 23, Laurent Mogno, President of ECT, and Léon Garaix, Director of Ecole Du Breuil, officially signed a partnership agreement between Ecole Du Breuil and ECT. This partnership has been operationally active since the beginning of 2022. We are proud to be a partner of this magnificent school of the City of Paris which for over 150 years has been home to one of the largest urban horticultural estates devoted entirely to teaching. The 2nd phase of the project is off to a flying start At the Boissy/Puiseux site, the 14,000 m3 of illegal waste were removed before the summer. Stage 2: agricultural and ecological restoration. ECT opens a new site in Yvelines, in Porcheville (78). The purpose of this site is to secure and enhance the southern entrance to the Porcheville leisure park in order to improve the residential environment and offer a new place for relaxation and leisure.
