100% eco-designed ECT events by 2025

An eco-design objective for 100% of events.

Events are important milestones in corporate communication. But they are ephemeral and particularly damaging to the environment. That’s why ECT’s communications department wants to make its actions part of a comprehensive approach to environmental sobriety .

In line with our ISO 14001 objectives, we rethought the entire organization: service providers, trade show organizers, printers, caterers, couriers… To leave nothing to chance and control the entire chain.

Framed by the company’s environmental management system, our actions in the design of events revolve around 3 pillars of ecological transition:

  • recycling, reuse and dematerialization.
  • limiting travel.
  • local sourcing.

How do we put our commitments into practice in the field?

Our concerted trajectory should take us from 60% eco-designed events in 2023 to 100% in 2025.

some examples of concrete actions to be implemented from 2023: :

  • Stand personalization with eco-responsible solutions: reusable graphics, PVC-free adhesive eco-vinyls
  • Thoughtful catering proposal: short-run products, returnable crockery, redistribution of uneaten food.
  • Carpooling and alternative transport recommended
  • Selection of service providers within a 20 km radius of the event venue.
  • Dematerialization of our communication tools
  • Reduced quantities printed on recycled paper.

Together with all ECT departments, we are committed to reducing our environmental impact.
