Discover paragliding for the disabled

As part of its partnership with ECT, the Crécelles paragliding club in the Yvelines region of France was able to acquire a brand-new two-seater paraglider in early 2021. In October, the club, in collaboration with the Thermique Francilien club, organized a day of discovery for people with disabilities.  Around twenty people, mostly in wheelchairs, took advantage of this initiative. ECT is delighted to have been able to contribute to this initiative.

UNEV becomes a member of FNTP

October 21, 2021, the Union Nationale des Entreprises de Valorisation joins the Fédération Nationaledes Travaux Publics. The Board of Directors of the Fédération Nationale des Travaux Publics (FNTP) has voted unanimously to approve the membership of the Union Nationale des Entreprises de Valorisation (UNEV), making it the 17th public works trade union to join the FNTP. VTT-TRIAL stadium in Epône (78) awarded FFC label

Official federal label for the MTB-Trial stadium Under a beautiful autumn sun, the “Julien Absalon” stadium, twice world mountain bike and cross-country champion, was inaugurated in October 2021. In the presence of Guy Muller, Mayor of Epône, and Éric Jacoté, FFC Vice-President in charge of mountain biking. MPs Bruno Millienne and Michel Vialay were present. Opening of a new site in Lens (62)

ECT opens a new site in Lens (62), on avenue de Van-Pelt. The aim of this site is to transform a former industrial site into an urban forest. This rehabilitation is part of a local and environmental dynamic: reserve and create large green spaces by planting 8,000 trees, integrate biodiversity issues into the project, Limit exposure to nuisance from the A21 freeway. This new natural area will be developed using inert soil excavated from local construction sites. The expected duration of the earthworks is 3 months. Landscaping and sports facilities in Iverny (77)

Proposing a new communal green space On July 26, ECT opened a new excavated soil reception site in the Seine-et-Marne department, in the commune of Iverny to be precise. The aim of this site, which recycles inert soil from local building sites, is to create a landscaped sports area. This project is “eco-conceived” with the commune of Iverny. The aim is to offer a new communal space focused on nature and sport. This 8,700 m² park is open to all, and features a tree-lined promenade and fitness trail. ECT opens a new site in Seine-et-Marne, at Iverny (77) The purpose of this site is to create a landscaped sports park. This will create a new communal space focused on nature and sport. The park will be built using  inert soil excavated from local construction sites. The expected duration of the earthworks is one month. Signature of a protocol between ECT, GAUSSIN and BOUYGUES ENERGIES & SERVICES ECT, GAUSSIN (EURONEXT GROWTH: ALGAU – FR0013495298) and BOUYGUES ENERGIES & SERVICES announce the signature of a cooperation agreement for the development of hydrogen-powered mobility solutions in the public works sector – hydrogen and electric – in 2022. Agricultural rehabilitation of the Louvres site: corn harvest scheduled for autumn

Restoring agricultural vitality to the land: the challenge of rehabilitating the Louvres site (95) Before they were rehabilitated, the land had been contaminated by the construction of the nearby Francilienne motorway. The soil was of poor agronomic quality. In this context, ECT was involved in financing and initiating the agricultural rehabilitation of the land. The work took 5 years to complete. Some agricultural plots will regain their fertility by reconstituting a top layer of fertile substrate created in situ by ECT’s R&D and landscaping teams.
