Renewable energies are energy sources that regenerate naturally and rapidly on a human scale.
They come from continuous or recurring natural processes, such as sunlight, wind, rain, tides and geothermal heat.
Unlike fossil fuels, they are inexhaustible on a human scale, and produce little or no greenhouse gases or air pollutants. ECT, in partnership with Akuo, offers a solar energy solution:
- Increase photovoltaic energy production in the Paris Region.
- Developing a local, regional approach: offering green, locally-produced electricity.
- Optimize the performance of photovoltaic power plants by adapting the shape of the site to favor the inclination of solar panels.
On the selected sites, the addition of excavated earth plays a decisive role in the creation of a new landform designed to optimize the inclination of the photovoltaic panels and their exposure to the sun.
The new landform also helps the plant to blend in better with the surrounding landscape. The Annet-sur-Marne solar project, carried out in partnership with Akuo, involved the construction of a fixed-structure ground-mounted solar power plant.
With a capacity of 17 MWp, this plant is one of the largest in the Paris region.
