LPO

Since 2020, the LPO has been supporting ECT in a consultancy partnership to protect Athena’s Owl. The LPO has been working on this species for many years, with a program focused on restoring ecological continuity between population nuclei in Val-d’Oise and northern Seine-et-Marne.  

The LPO’s mission with ECT is to advise us on the Villeneuve-sous-Dammartin (77) site, located in the  study area for the Little Owl. ECT’s action will be to encourage its settlement, by creating corridors and more specifically by installing nesting boxes for the owl in the orchard area. The nesting boxes were installed by the LPO in April 2023.
