ECT Hauts-de-France, a local player in the transformation of derelict sites

ECT, a long-standing player in the field of non-built environmental development, has opened a regional branch in the Hauts-de-France region.

Its ambition is to contribute to the rehabilitation of industrial wastelands and derelict areas through the reclamation of excavated soil. The company creates projects with a wide range of forms and uses: urban parks, biodiversity zones, agricultural areas with pastures and orchards, and outdoor leisure and sports areas.

Land reclamation makes the project, which has been eco-designed by the local authorities and their partners, entirely self-financing. Examples include the Van Pelt site in Lens, transformed into an urban forest, and an urban market gardening project in Grenay.
