ECT takes part in the Assises Nationales du Foncier et des Territoires (National Land and Territory Conferences)

National Land and Territory Conferences (ANFT)

AFNT was born of a partnership between Business Immo and LIFTI, of which ECT is an active member, to provide a forum for public and private players in the land, real estate and local development sectors. Last year’s event attracted 450 participants.

For this new opus, the
ANFT
takes up residence in Nancy. Over two days, debates, workshops and roundtables explore 360° land-related issues, with the aim of successfully “building a new land pact”. “An ambitious program to reconcile the worlds of development and real estate in a spirit of constructive dialogue,” says Sandra Roumi, President of Business Immo.

"Urban renaturation", ECT takes part in the debate

Guillaume Pasquier, ECT Development Director, is invited to take part in the debate “Taking biodiversity into account at last: a land imperative? The Climate and Resilience Act of August 22, 2021, by enacting a goal of zero net artificialisation, has brought renaturation issues back into focus. What actions are already in place to build more resilient cities? For which business models?

He spoke about the prospects for “urban renaturation”, a pivotal topic that combines biodiversity protection, soil permeability and reclamation, and land reclamation.

The debate, moderated by Lisa Lejmentel, project manager at Humanité et Biodiversité, also brings together Katheleen Monod, thematic coordinator at the Office Nationale de la Biodiversité, Mathilde Chaboche, deputy in charge of urban planning and harmonious development for the city of Marseille, and Cécile Cren, head of biodiversity and natural environments at Vinci.

Contribute to ZAN objectives

Through its circular economy model for excavated soil and as a non-built developer, ECT contributes to the Zero Net Artificialization objectives of local authorities.

In consultation with local authorities, projects such as parkland development, the creation of forests and nature areas, and the rehabilitation of brownfield and agricultural sites are self-financed by the reuse of urban land from construction.

These developments create non-artificialized surfaces and contribute to a positive balance.
