Twenty-three fourth- and fifth-grade students from Louis Pergaud School in Plaisir (78) planted 400 young trees and shrubs, helping to reforest the future park. This nature awareness initiative allows students to get involved in the future of their city. Conducted in partnership with the City of Plaisir, this Parc de la Mare aux Saules project is transforming a former quarry into a 10.8-hectare landscaped and ecological park. It includes the restoration of woodlands, meadows, and wetlands. Ecological monitoring is provided by the ECOTER design office. Before planting, ECT teams presented the landscape redevelopment and planting techniques to the students during an educational session as part of the Sustainable Development Education program.
