From land to orchard, Moissy-Cramayel children plant trees in the future Arboretum Park

Radiant sunshine for schoolchildren from Moissy-Cramayel (77) who took part in a day of discovery of the future “Parc de l’Arboretum”.

This park was created by ECT using inert soil from construction sites in the Paris region.

With the enthusiastic help of the ECT teams, the children planted the fruit trees in the orchard and some of the ornamental trees along the main pathway.

The future “Parc de l’arboretum” consists of 2 embankment mounds currently managed by ECT. It will offer Moissy-Cramayel residents :

  • walks,
  • an arboretum of local and exotic species,
  • an orchard,
  • a pond,
  • a “street-workout” area.

People with reduced mobility will also be able to access the park in complete safety, as it meets very precise specifications for PRMs. ECT is currently finalizing the park’s layout and equipment. Inauguration is scheduled for June 2019.
