89% of our events are eco-responsible

Evénement Durable - Villeneuve

Why rethink the organization of corporate events?

Events create links and make our actions visible. But they can also have an impact on the environment. That’ s why ECT’s communications department is committed to an environmentally sober approach to all its events.

When was this initiative launched?

Since 2023, we have been developing our event management practices. To align them with our environmental commitments. And in line with our ISO 14001 management system. This reflection has led us to rethink all our events:
trade shows, inaugurations, worksite visits and educational activities.

What are the objectives of this approach?

Several objectives, fully integrated into our sustainability management strategy:

  • Controlling and reducing our carbon footprint
  • Living up to our environmental values and convictions
  • Strengthen our brand image with concrete, lasting proof of commitment

What has been redesigned in concrete terms?

We have chosen to control the entire event chain. Our reflections focused on the three pillars of environmental transition:

  1. Recycling, reuse and dematerialization
  2. Limiting travel
  3. Local sourcing

In practical terms, what does this mean in the field?

Our commitments are reflected in the responsible choices we make at every stage in the organization of our events.
With a clear objective: to control their environmental impact, without altering their quality or meaning.

Carefully selected partners

We select our partners carefully. Technical service providers, printers, caterers, couriers. Each player is chosen according to precise environmental criteria. To guarantee the overall coherence of our events.

Stands built to last

We favor eco-responsible personalization solutions.
Reusable visuals and PVC-free repositionable eco-vinyls. Durable, reusable and generating less waste.

More responsible catering

Catering services are based on:
– products sourced locally,
– returnable crockery,
– redistribution of uneaten food.

A concrete commitment against food waste.

Sober mobility

We encourage carpooling. And the use of alternative transport. Objective: reduce emissions linked to team and participant travel.. .

Strong local roots

Our suppliers are selected within a 20 km radius of the event venue.
To limit the carbon footprint of transport.
And support the local economy.

Dematerialized communication media

We are drastically reducing paper printing. And prefer digital media. When printing is essential, it is done in limited quantities. And exclusively on recycled paper.

Local and responsible promotional gifts

We’ve chosen a gift with meaning.
Pots of all-flower honey, 100% locally produced in Seine-et-Marne. In addition, we offer advertising bags, made from 96% recycled cotton.

Solutions that are sober, sustainable and consistent with our approach.

Does this approach apply to all regions?

This approach applies to all the regions in which ECT operates: ÃŽle-de-France, Hauts-de-France, Grand-Est and Occitanie. Our ambition is clear: to deploy a consistent, structured and measurable approach, whatever the region.

With what results?

After two years of experimentation and adjustments, our trajectory is clear.
By 2025, 89% of our events will be eco-designed.

This figure reflects a collective commitment.
A voluntary, structured and measurable approach.

While retaining the essentials. Useful corporate events.
High points. And meaningful.
