New ECT site at Houdain (62) in the mining basin

ECT redevelops the Parc de la Chausée Brunehaut with soil from construction sites

May 13, 2023 | ECT Hauts-de-France opens a new site in the commune of Houdain.

This site is located 3 kms from the D301, exit D57“Bruay-la-Buissière – Houdain”.

On the site, the reuse of excavated soil from local construction sites contributes directly to the creation of a new leisure and recreation area.

Work is scheduled to take 4 months.

Access

This new ECT site is located 3 kms from the D57 “Bruay-la-Buissière – Houdain” exit on the D 301. To reinforce site access safety, compulsory routes must be taken on entering and leaving the site.

Prior to evacuating their soil on the site, earthworkers must have validated a Declaration of Prior Authorization for their worksite with ECT, and make a reservation with ECT’s dedicated service.

A development project in partnership with the city

The transformation of the site is being carried out in partnership with the town of Houdain. The development of the Chaussée de Brunehaut Park will offer a a new place to relax. The park will be organized around a large area with grassed seating for entertainment. A belvedere will offer a view of the Lawe valley
