[Sport en ville] A mountain bike and trials stadium built in 4 months

ECT, proud to present its latest project: a mountain bike and trials stadium in Epône, Yvelines (78)

Built between June and September 2020, using excavated earth from the West Paris construction industry, construction time was short.

This project is being carried out on municipal land. It was designed in collaboration with the local MTB and Trials cycling association, ORC Epône. And with the ambition of creating the first complete trials and mountain bike stadium in the Paris region, for training and competition.

The work involved in setting up the trial fixtures and mountain bike training tracks was very precise. It has been the subject of fruitful collaboration between the teams.

ECT's fertile substrate, Urbafertil, for greening the site

This development also stands out as a site where ECT has implemented its fertile substrate, “URBAFERTIL”. Manufactured in situ, this efficient growing medium recycles inert soil mixed with green waste compost. At Epône, the use of this technosoil has made up for the absence of topsoil (and avoided the need to import it) to complete the planted landscaping.
