Opening of a new ECT facility in Carrières-sur-Seine (78)
Since September 21, ECT has been accepting inert soil (K3) at its new facility in Carrières-sur-Seine.
This facility offers construction companies a local, secure solution that complies with traceability requirements for inert soil.
Bringing in inert soil to the site
Accessible from RD 311, it enjoys a prime location, right next to the A13 and A86 highway exits.
To ensure safety and keep traffic flowing smoothly, exit from the site is regulated. Trucks must follow this route : Chemin des Houilles → Chemin des Bombes → Chemin des Douaires → Route de Sartrouville.
The site is open Monday through Friday, from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (last truck accepted at 3:45 p.m.).
Good to Know
- Deliveries are tracked solely in cubic meters; billing by the metric ton is not possible.
- Access to the site is subject to prior approval by the ECT reservations department.
Land Reclaimed to Stabilize the Subsoil and Revive Market Gardening
For this development project, inert soil generated by the construction industry is reused with two objectives in mind :
- To permanently secure former quarries covering nearly 17 hectares.
- Then, facilitate the creation of an area dedicated to market gardening and biodiversity, covering nearly 5 ha
The project is led by ECT and the City of Carrières-sur-Seine, in partnership with the Saint-Germain Boucles de Seine Urban Community and Grand Paris Aménagement.
