Reducing GHG emissions at ECT sites

2 electric bulldozers to reduce the carbon footprint of land reception and earthworks at ECT sites.

How to reduce the carbon footprint of ECT sites?

A first step in our decarbonization trajectory has been taken with the Bergerat-Monnoyeur company. ECT has acquired two Cat D6XE bulldozers. This model is the first electric-powered bulldozer with elevated transmission.

This new technology optimizes and regulates internal combustion engine speed: the power calls, fuel consumption peaks, are just some of the benefits that managed by an electric hydraulic boost. The target for reducingCOâ‚‚emissions is 20%.

These machines are also characterized by their ease of use. for the driver. The cab’s ergonomic design makes it easier to visibility, comfort and thus productivity gains. Finally lower maintenance and repair costs maintenance should help offset the higher purchase price of a classic bulldozer.

ECT’s objective is to shape new developments by consuming less fuel and limiting GHG emissions.
