Opening of a new site in Lens (62)

ECT opens a new site in Lens (62), on avenue de Van-Pelt.

The aim of this site is to transform a former industrial site into an urban forest. This rehabilitation is part of a local and environmental dynamic:

  • reserve and create large green spaces by planting 8,000 trees,
  • integrate biodiversity issues into the project,
  • Limit exposure to nuisance from the A21 freeway.

This new natural area will be developed using inert soil excavated from local construction sites. The expected duration of the earthworks is 3 months.

To access the Lens site, you need to be validated by ECT’s reservations department.
