The plot, formerly an abandoned wasteland and now a communal landfill site, is being rehabilitated to create a materials storage and composting platform for municipal services.
The special feature of this project is the ultra-local proximity of the land excavation site, a real estate project, located in Crespières itself.

The "Flambertins" wasteland begins its transformation
July 2022 – Start of rehabilitation work on the “Flambertins” brownfield site. Rehabilitation begins with waste removal. 2nd stage: inert soil from an ultra-local real estate development site in the commune. Step 3: Level the plateau to create the platform base.
Finally, the embankments will be planted: around 880 trees over 3,870 m². Planting will take place in early winter 2023.
The former wasteland has been replaced by a new platform used for materials storage and composting by municipal services.
