The Académie des Technologies publishes Laurent Mogno’s speech

Economic players face the challenge of integrating biodiversity issues into corporate strategy.

After a first seminar in January 2022 dedicated to the presentation of scientific knowledge on the erosion of biodiversity,

The Académie des Technologies

continued its work with a second seminar, held on June 8, 2022, on the issue of
biodiversity issues by economic players. How are these issues perceived, analyzed and implemented in corporate strategy?

Invited by Bernard Chevassus-au-Louis, President of Humanité & Biodiversité, Laurent Mogno, President of ECT, presented ECT’s model for non-built development using excavated soil from urban construction sites. He described how the company takes action by considering its impacts and assessing them. Over and above regulations, ECT’s commitment to being a net contributor to biodiversity means that its strategy must include a commitment to the environmental performance of its projects.
