A social and ecological project blossoms from topsoil from construction sites

Along the Canal de l’Ourcq in Bobigny (93), a former plot of land is being brought back to life using topsoil from construction sites. The reuse of this topsoil has created a new space dedicated to urban agriculture and social interaction. The project, called Les Jardins Mécaniques, is run by the associations Les Cols Verts and La Cantine des Femmes Battantes.
