Substrat fertile - La Courneuve

ECT site in La Courneuve : fertile substrate production platform with Faiseurs de Terres

ECT’s site in La Courneuve, Seine-Saint-Denis, recently obtained authorization to produce fertile substrate, an important step in our commitment to the circular economy. This project will be developed in partnership with Faiseurs de Terres, a collaboration that marks a new step forward in our approach to recycling inert soil from construction sites and supporting urban greening. Fertile substrate, a mixture of inert soil and green waste compost, represents a 100% recycled alternative to imported topsoil, helping to preserve natural resources. This process is fully in line with our strategy of reusing materials and reducing environmental impact, by giving a second

A gantry to reinforce vigilance and safety on site

The safety of our employees is a priority. In partnership with Placo®/ Saint Gobain, a safety gantry has been installed at the site in Bernouille (93). This device, a key element of our QSE (Quality, Safety, Environment) approach, serves as a reminder of the career instructions to be followed on site. The key idea is Vigilance = Safety. On this gantry, several points of vigilance are highlighted to ensure collective safety : ✔️ Compulsory PPE : Wearing personal protective equipment is an essential requirement for all on-site workers. New stage in the rehabilitation of the former Boissy landfill site

In 2022, the site was one of the largest illegal landfill sites in the Val d’Oise, a major environmental issue for the prefecture. Today, the ECT rehabilitation project is making further progress. The input of inert earth from the construction and public works industry, essential for financing and carrying out this large-scale project, has been completed. Now it’s time for planting and reforestation. An ambitious renaturation project At the request of the Val d’Oise prefecture, ECT has designed an ecological and agricultural project to re-naturalise the site. The project is financed entirely by inert earth from the construction industry. But

Fertile substrate to green the future Parc du Sempin in Chelles

In partnership with Safer de l’Île-de-France, the ambitious project to rehabilitate the Plaine du Sempin is progressing. In the final phase of development, our teams are producing an innovative substrate on site to create fertile soil. This 100 % recycled substrate is made from a mixture of green waste compost and inert soil from the construction industry. Why fertile substrate? There are several reasons for recreating soil with fertile substrate : Circular: Produced from 100% recycled materials, the substrate recovers green waste and inert soil from the construction industry. This approach contributes to sustainable resource management and waste reduction. Ecological:
