Project presentation
The plan for the site’s restoration is to create a free-flowing natural area, to encourage the return of local biodiversity.
It calls for the creation of a diversified natural landscape, integrating different environments and landscaping adapted to the site. The project pays particular attention to ecological integration, by planting local species and reinforcing plant continuity.
The project also takes into account water management, with features to encourage infiltration and recreate natural runoff, in keeping with the site’s function.

Biodiversity at the heart of the project
Diversified meadows will be created between the woodlands, with appropriate management to encourage local fauna and bird feeding areas.
The project also includes a high-stem orchard, hedgerows planted with local species, as well as wetlands and meadow ponds offering a variety of habitats for wildlife, including birds, pollinators and amphibians.
Hedgerows will be structured to encourage species movement and provide refuge, while certain wetlands will be created for specific species such as amphibians.
Finally, the pink sandstone blocks present on the site will be reused to create micro-habitats favorable to certain invertebrates.
