Project life

A new nature, sports and leisure area

The urban park was levelled, shaped and landscaped using inert soil. The park has been open to the public since 2011.

Along the 6 km walk, you can discover the development of an orchard, the creation of a wetland surrounded by forest, or climb up to the 2 belvederes offering views over the French plain and the Marne valley. Sports enthusiasts can also train on a 3 km fitness trail with 12 apparatus.

The project was conceived in conjunction with the Claye-Souilly town council. Schoolchildren took part in the renaturation of the site with educational outings to plant fruit trees for the future orchard.

For the past eight years, the La Prée educational farm has been located in the heart of this municipal park.
