Description du projet

Louvres, restoring agricultural land

From inert to fertile land, this is the thread that led to the rehabilitation of the Louvres site.

Following the deconstruction of the Francilienne. This site has been damaged, making the land unsuitable for agriculture. ECT was involved in designing a rehabilitation project using inert soil. This land is used to finance the rehabilitation of the agricultural plateau. At the end of the works, ECT proceeded to rebuild the fertile horizon of the site, by re-applying the topsoil present on the site or experimenting with the fertile substrate.

Preservation of biodiversity and fertility

The biodiversity of the site is reflected in the variety of environments. In addition to the agricultural plots, shrubs have been planted on the slopes, while the ditches and pond (0.6 ha) support the development of wetland vegetation

The Urbafertil experiment: on 2 hectares, the reconstitution of the upper cultivable layer was carried out in situ by the installation of a fertile substrate, the subject of a research and development programme.
